I share with you the 125th anniversary effort of the bubbly, brown soda company, Coca-Cola. Coke has got to be in the top ten percentile of successful marketing and use of technology in their commercials. This is not a fact I found via google, it’s insight. This video makes me feel like I’m inside a glass box, sliding through cool places, protected from the elements and yet in the midst of the action of life. They incorporate history highlights without being cheesy and show off the efforts of those in graphic design and mixed-media venues. Crack a can and enjoy this special creation.

Pure collision of style and sounds. “Brain Cells” visual is something like a TV classic with modern day meaning. It’s crisp and cool, it’s mixed with history, I like it… Keep doing your thing https://twitter.com/#!/AustinVesely and https://twitter.com/#!/chancetherapper

10 Photos X Mickey Mike Monday collar! This is one of my favorite photos from his look-book for the project, Caviar & Bass: Chapter One . I love the aesthetics of this fun photo and although you have yet to hear the sounds of this Chicago artist, this photo set really captures the tone he’s going for. You can look at the full shoot here: http://threemmm.tumblr.com/
I’m proud and excited for Mike! Not to mention I’m featured on two songs from Chapter One, so look out for the drop later this spring! ;)

Hypebeast has cutting edge and fresh items flowing on their website at all times, this is fact. Rather than analyzing the effects and location of this film, I want to share a secret about my viewing experience…

In my house, we take a video such as this, mute the sound and continue to stream our music. For this particular moment we were listening to “Mia Wallace” and other songs from Wiz Khalifa’s new mix tape, Taylor Allderice. I haven’t watched this video with the original soundtrack and I don’t really care to. Our tunes blended so well and provided an extra unique viewing experience. I must mention this whole video on mute and selecting tunes thing is all my boyfriends doing. He is genius.

Tonight I was able to attend a screening of Jeff, Who Lives At Home in theaters March 16. To begin my critique with a broad statement, I love films that are able to show the human experience in a realistic and relatable manner. I was told the Duplass brothers (writers & directors) leave out almost all dialogue in their scripts to provoke true character development and improv while filming. Relaxing, quirky and relevant to our generation.. I’m now looking forward to discovering past works of the Duplass brothers!
